W. Eric Myers was born to a wheat farmer and an R.N. from a small rural hospital in Harper, KS.  A child of the 1970's T.V. generation, Saturday morning cartoons, after-school cartoons and Atari video games fueled his imagination.  Shelter belts, (narrow tree rows to prevent soil erosion) became enchanted forests and sticks became swords as he hand his Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd went questing.

Eric didn't care one way or the other about books until, on his 2nd time through 4th-grade, Mrs. Zirkle read Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time to the class.  From that point forward, he became an English teacher's pet. 

He is a Navy veteran, earned a specialized Associate of Science in video game design from Full Sail University, 3D multimedia design from Northern Oklahoma College and finally a BFA in graphic design from Liberty University (summa cum laude). Not bad for a 4th grade flunky!

Eric and his soulmate, Joy, have been together since 1993. Their 'children' are Corgi's and house cats, all of whom factored into his stories.
